The short version

HappierWorld helps you reflect on your time and what matters. We ask for as little as possible, keep it secure, never sell it, and let you delete it whenever you want. If you don't create an account, your data stays on your device only and is wiped within a day.

Who we are

HappierWorld is a product of Marvel Qualities Ltd ("we"), the data controller. For any privacy question or request, contact admin@marvelqualities.co.uk.

What we collect

• What you enter: your age, sex and country; optionally your family members' names, ages, countries and a life-expectancy figure; the life chapters and the "what's on offer" choices you make.
• If you create an account: your email address (to sign you in and, if you subscribe, to send reminders).
• If you subscribe: payment is handled by Stripe; we store your subscription status and Stripe identifiers, not your card details.

How we use it

• To show you your own life view and the windows you're tracking.
• To email you reminders you've asked for (you set the frequency and can unsubscribe any time).
• To take payment for the reminder subscription.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it except with the processors below who help run the service.

Where it's stored, and for how long

• No account: your data lives only in your browser and is removed when you close it, and in any case within one day.
• With an account: your data is stored securely (Supabase, EU region) and kept until you delete it. You can erase everything at any time with Delete my account & data in the app.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase — secure database, accounts and hosting (EU).
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Resend — sending sign-in and reminder emails.
• Vercel — serving the website.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. The fastest way is in the app (edit your details, or Delete my account & data); or email us. If you're in the UK/EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Lawful basis: we process your data on the basis of your consent and to provide the service you've asked for. The family and life-expectancy information you may enter can be sensitive; we ask for it only to power your own view, store it securely, and never share it for any other purpose.

HappierWorld shows estimates about lifespan and time remaining. These are rough, for reflection only, and are not medical, financial or actuarial advice.

Terms of use (summary)

HappierWorld is provided "as is" for personal reflection. Estimates and suggestions are not professional advice. Subscriptions renew yearly until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the period ends. We may update these terms; we'll note the date above.
